The SAPMA fettling day is a day where you can bring a kit (or a few) to the clubhouse and spend a day building your kit, chatting with fellow model makers, discussing techniques, weather, or global politics… It’s just a fun day away from the slings and arrows of non-model making life with some good friends.
Doors open at 10am, lunch is provided, and we finish up at 3pm.
This weekend will be a little different in that there will be a raffle going on for a kit that was donated to the club by a member of the public. Had been sitting in their cupboard for about 20 plus years as was never going to be built so they thought it would be good to donate it to the club. Still sealed in the plastic. It will be potluck with the decals though, as the kit is a 1975 boxing. Kit picture below
This is open to all club members who attend on the weekend. Will be a gold coin donation to enter
There will be the usual nibbles and drinks available
Hope to see you there.
